One of China’s biggest shoe manufacturers, Huajian Group, has announced plans to build a world class industrial city in Ethiopia. The company which already has a big presence in Ethiopia says it has presented the project proposal to the Ethiopian Ministry of Innovation and Technology. The project is expected to cost millions of dollars. It is also projected to create many more jobs in Ethiopia. Ministry of Innovation and Technology says the government will provide all that is necessary to move the plan into reality.
