Trump's ban on Huawei is looking like it will have a devastating effect on the Chinese company. ​Huawei has postponed the launch of its new MateBook laptop. Which suggests that these American-based technologies are the sole reason Huawei has pulled the plug on its high-end laptop launch. The cancellation of the planned laptop launch this week is the clearest example yet of the challenge Huawei now faces. Annoyingly, this year's MateBook was rumoured to be the first Huawei laptop to go on general sale in New Zealand.
