No new confirmed, asymptomatic or suspected coronavirus patients were reported in central China's Hubei province Thursday, but there are three close contacts under medical observation, the provincial health commission said. The province, once the new coronavirus epicenter, cleared its confirmed patients on August 31 when the last patient infected overseas, was released from hospital. Hubei has reported a total of 68,139 confirmed coroanvirus patients, and 63,627 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals. The disease claimed 4,512 lives in the province.
