Sky, which made £2billion in profits last year, says Premier League football can boost drink sales by £30,000 a year. He said: “I pay over £20,000 a year for Sky and BT Sports and that’s going up by another grand in April. The price is based on business rates and pubs pay nearly twice as much for these compared to other businesses.
