The youngster was playing on the grass when she spotted a golden curly-haired dog believed to be a Cockerpoo with its elderly owner in Dorset on Wednesday. The girl and her dad asked the woman if she could say "hello" and the owner said the dog was "friendly." But as the girl bent down to stroke it, the dog suddenly mauled her hand and face leaving her face pouring with blood. Police would like to speak to the owner of the dog as they investigate the incident.
