SAMPSON ITODEThe husband of a woman rescued from a septic tank in Rivers State, Prince Eke, on Saturday begged the state police command to ensure the prosecution of his wife’s assailants. Eke made the plea at a hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State where his wife Chizoba Eke, was receiving treatment after her ordeal. Eke said, “I am begging the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State to ensure that all those who did this to my wife and six months baby face the law. It was gathered that the screams of the victim for help from the septic tank alerted members of the community who informed the police about the development. “She was rescued and taken to the hospital.
