Hyundai Motor flagged disruptions to its export operations as tensions in the Middle East continue to strain global shipping networks, impacting vehicle movement to key markets. The South Korean automaker said shipments bound for Europe and North Africa, which typically pass through the Middle East, are facing delays due to the ongoing conflict. The disruption is part of a wider fallout from the ongoing Iran-linked conflict in the Middle East, which has severely affected global shipping lanes. Logistics bottlenecks widenHyundai Glovis, the group’s logistics arm, said some Middle East shipping routes are currently inaccessible. Hyundai Motor reported global sales of 358,759 vehicles in March, marking a 2.3% decline year-on-year.
