I Feel Abandoned By the Weah Government, Gabriel I.H. Williams Laments

Two days following my father-in-law’s funeral, my elder brother, who helped to raise me, died in Monrovia, following a period of serious illness. He said the action was being taken because of disapproval of my recently-published book, Corruption is Destroying Africa: The Case of Liberia. One of my confidants even advised that I should stay away from all media and public engagements under the circumstances. The Department of Public Affairs at the Embassy falls directly under the auspices of the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism. I feel abandoned by the Weah government.
