Politics of Tuesday, 24 February 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comAn aspiring parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Asante Mampong constituency, Beatrice Owarewa Siaw popularly known as Nana Yaa , has asserted that she has undertaken development projects valued at more than GH¢40 billion in the area. Speaking during a campaign engagement, Nana Yaa Siaw stated that her contributions to the constituency span several initiatives, including projects she described as unprecedented in the area. “As I mentioned earlier, I have done over 40 billion Ghana cedis’ worth of projects and I'm even doing projects that have never been done before,” she said. The NPP hopeful attributed her confidence in securing the party’s nod to what she described as her strong connection with grassroots supporters and her humble approach to leadership. She urged delegates and constituents to support her bid, describing herself as the “right choice” for the constituency.
