Top Rank chief Bob Arum wants more Filipino boxers in the bubble ring at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada because they are “crowd-pleasers” and have a record of derring-do. So we need [to get] many talented fighters as far as we can to put on good matches,” Arum told The Manila Times in an overseas call on Thursday. “[And] I like them (Filipino boxers) because they are very crowd-pleasing. Arum lauded the Filipino fighters who already fought in the bubble — bantamweight Mike Plania, lightweight Mark Bernaldez and welterweight Reymond Yanong. They will inform the US embassy as well to help the boxers process the needed visa to travel.
