He stressed that MPs perform public duties and must be given the requisite tools that every other public servant gets. “I was in the Constituency one day. Everything I had on me was taken away from me. I had to call my wife to send me 500 Cedis to buy fuel to come to Accra,” he revealed. His comments come at a time when some persons have advocated for MPs to be provided with bicycles instead of SUVs, a criticism of the apparent juicy conditions of service of MPs.
