Sodiq OyelekeA 27-year-old Nigerian lady, Adedeji Oluwatobi Suliyat, has been trafficked to Oman and reportedly starved of food for three weeks. Upon getting to Oman, she was commissioned to work in a household and later asked to go to another residence in July 2019. When the suffering became unbearable, Adedeji recorded a short video on her experience and sought help. It was learnt that after the video, the attention of other Nigerians in Oman was drawn to the situation and they intervened. “We went to the Manpower (Labour ministry) and they advised us to go and negotiate with the sponsor of the lady.
