According to him, he was accused of championing the cause of the then government instead of promoting his candidate at the acting National Chairman. There were several adverts of the NDC in the Daily Guide newspaper promoting the re-election bid of President Mahama ahead of the December 7 general elections. This angered some people in the NPP leading to unabated queries over Freddie Blay’s loyalty to the cause of the party. Freddie Blay added that despite the newspaper being pro-NPP, the company must also look at the business side and also make money to keep the company active.
