Moses Ledama Sunkuli/FILEThe Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has announced the appointment of Moses Ledama Sunkuli as the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Commission Secretary, effective immediately. It noted that the appointment follows the exit of the former Chief Executive Officer, Marjan Hussein Marjan. The IEBC Chairperson Erastus Edung Ethekon said he "brings extensive experience and internal institutional knowledge to this role." IEBC is under the watchful eye of a public demanding transparency and efficiency as the country prepares for the 2027 elections. “We particularly thank him for steering the Commission Secretariat during the period of absence of the Commissioners,” said IEBC Chairperson Erastus Ethekon.
