IEBC begins the tallying of presidential votes

By the same time of publishing, President Uhuru Kenyatta was leading in the 293 stations with 21,925 votes, Raila Odinga with 12,238 votes followed by Japheth Kavinga (327 votes), Mohamed Dida (53 votes), Joseph Nyaga (51 votes), Ekuru Aukot (40 votes), Cyrus Jirongo (18 votes) and Michael Wainaina (15 votes). The results portal will keep updating the figures as they come in from the remaining 40,590 polling stations come in. Polling stations that opened on time closed at 5pm while those that experienced delays had their time extended by the respective hours they delayed.
