KUALA LUMPUR: There's no need to lodge a report to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on the cartel-linked officers within the police force as things are still under control, says Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador. “As I have said previously, the matter is still under my control... it is under control. “I have discussed it with JIPS (Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department) and God willing, action will be taken, ” the Inspector-General of Police said at a press conference at Bukit Aman here on Thursday (March 25). He was responding to queries regarding his recent remarks on a group of unscrupulous young officers with links to cartels within the force. In a recent interview with Sinar Harian, Abdul Hamid revealed that there existed a self-serving faction within the police force that was actively trying to destroy his image and oust him.
