India will most likely have a normal monsoon in the year 2020, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday. "We will have a normal monsoon this year. The weather agency also released the dates of onset of monsoon in several places in its first stage Long Range Forecast (LRF) for south-west monsoon season, which falls between June till September. The data predicts that monsoon will arrive in Kerala on June 1, Chennai on June 4, and will reach Panjim on June 7. IMD has said that monsoon will arrive in Delhi on June 27.
