The popular Braywick Nature Festival took place across three days last week– after being postponed due to bad weather. This host of free family nature activities allows children to explore water, woodland and meadowland habitats for free. These started on Tuesday and ran until Thursday 18 from 10.30-12pm at Braywick Nature Centre on Hibbert Road. The Meadow Madness activity is a ‘mini beast safari’, which involves searching for insects in the Braywick Nature Centre grassland, particularly crickets, grasshoppers and ladybirds. After activities, visitors arrived back at the nature centre garden to relax with an optional vegetarian barbecue.
