In a statement issued by the Foundation, it reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the welfare of women, girls, and families through education, community support, and advocacy for gender equality. Despite progress, many women and girls still face challenges such as limited access to education, economic inequality, and gender-based discrimination. The Divine Mother and Child Foundation also encourages individuals and organisations to celebrate International Women’s Day by recognising the contributions of women and supporting initiatives that promote gender equality.
