The FDA considers such decorative or fashion or Halloween or colored or cosmetic or theater or whatever-you-want-to-call-them contact lenses to be medical devices. Even though you may not need the contact lenses to "correct" your visions, they still have to sit on your eyeballs. It may be great that you can still wear that leisure suit from 20 years ago, but the same does not hold for that pair of contact lenses. Just because you are dressed like a cat doesn't mean that you should lick your contact lenses clean. And for Pete's sake and everyone else's, do not share contact lenses.
