CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Illini Deca-Jam track and field meet wrapped up on Saturday, April 11, at Demirjian Park. Multiple Illinois athletes finished atop the podium, including Urbana native Jackson Gilbert in the 800m run, while Grace Kombetto earned the fourth-fastest time in school history to take first in the event (2:05.07). Many athletes hailing from the WCIA 3 viewing area were also in the field.
