ISLAMABAD: The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday decided to organise the main ceremony of the party’s foundation day in Islamabad on May 1. PTI’s founding chairman, Prime Minister Imran Khan, will address the event. “Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the ‘Yaum-e-Tasees’ ceremony that is being held on May 1 at Jinnah Convention Centre Islamabad. The decision to commemorate the party’s foundation day on May 1, was taken at a meeting chaired by PTI’s chief organiser Saifullah Khan Niazi. The PTI was founded by cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan in Lahore on April 25, 1996.
