Of course, readers and journalists do not always agree on what to publish and what not to publish on the Star’s many platforms. The ongoing discussions about what should be published, in line with the Star’s standards, are always thoughtful and wholly absorbing. Overall, results show that readers were aligned with newsroom judgments about what to publish in 7 of 15 scenarios presented — or 47 per cent of situations.
