Robson has been signing bookplates, an offer she made online to anyone who wanted to give her new book, The Gown, which comes out Dec. 31, as a belated gift. Robson’s first four novels — an addictive mix of Edwardian history, fiercely independent female protagonists and swoon-worthy romances — are top sellers and book-club staples.
