A petition challenging the election of Governor Abdullahi Jiir will be heard today. The governor has since testified saying he was fairly elected. The court is expected to hear more submissions todayA woman who was accused of killing her husband in Embakasi by stabbing him with a knife has been jailed for 15 years. Celestine Wigama was convicted by High Court judge Daniel Ogembo after she admitted to a lesser charge of manslaughter. The Milimani court is also expected to rule whether it will allow police to hold a woman who allegedly assaulted her boyfriend who is currently in critical condition.
