indiaUpdated: Aug 28, 2020 15:08 ISTAfter 60,177 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 recoveries are nearing 26 lakh and there are only 22 per cent active cases in the country, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) informed on Friday. “With more patients recovering and being discharged from home isolation (in case of mild and moderate cases) and hospitals (severe and critical cases), India’s Covid-19 recoveries are nearing 26 lakh. With these national figures, the Recovery Rate amongst the Covid-19 has touched 76.28 per cent,” read a release by the Ministry. Click here for full Covid-19 coverage“The number of recoveries is nearly 3.5 times the active cases, which comprise 21.90 per cent of the total cases,” it said. The gap between recoveries and active cases now increased to 18,41,925.
