She received Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and MA in Geography from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Her specialization includes development issues, India- Africa relation and diplomacy, Social development issues, Gender issues and geospatial technologies. The relationship reflects India’s broader strategic partnership which marks a qualitative shift from long-standing friendship to a comprehensive, future-oriented engagement anchored in economic cooperation, development partnership, security collaboration, and Global South diplomacy. Together, India and Ethiopia are not just neighbours across the ocean; we are co-travellers on the path to prosperity.
