Cricket legend Sourav Ganguly is being treated in a hospital in Kolkata for Covid-19. Ganguly, who played 113 Test matches for India and was captain for 49 of them, fell ill on Sunday and tested positive the following day. The news of Ganguly's positive test comes just after the Indian Government approved two more Covid-19 vaccines - Corbevax, Covovax- as well as anti-viral drug Molnupiravir for emergency use. On Tuesday, the country's health ministry confirmed India had reported 6,358 Covid-19 cases and 293 deaths in the past 24 hours, with the Omicron tally in the country standing at 655.
