India received 2,060 oxygen concentrators, three oxygen generation plants as foreign aid


An official statement of the Union Health Ministry said India has been receiving international donations and aid of COVID-19 relief medical supplies and equipment since April 27, 2021. India received 2,060 oxygen concentrators, 30,000 vials of Remdesivir, 467 ventilators and three oxygen generation plants from the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), Switzerland, Poland, the Netherlands and Israel on Friday, the government said. This is being comprehensively monitored by the Union Health Ministry on a regular basis,” it said. “A dedicated coordination cell has been created in the Union Health Ministry to coordinate the receipt and allocation of foreign COVID relief material as grants, aid and donations. A standard operating procedure has been framed and implemented by the Health Ministry since May 2,” it said.
