Rishabh Pant who had tested positive for COVID-19 is all set to join the Virat Kohli-led Team India squad in Durham on July 20. It is said that his quarantine ended on Sunday and Pant is free to leave and join the team for practice. According to the information available with InsideSport, though Pant's quarantine ended on Sunday, he will still not join the team before July 22. This also means Pant can play the 2nd practice match which is scheduled just before the 1st Test on August 4. As for the COVID-19 cases within the squad, Team India reported two positive cases in wicket-keeper Pant and throwdown specialist Dayanand Garani.
