In a thrilling encounter, Bangladesh held their nerve to secure a four-wicket consolation win against India in the third and final women’s T20 International in Mirpur. Opener Shamima Sultana played a crucial role, scoring 42 off 46 balls, to guide Bangladesh to victory. The struggles of Indian batters against spin-friendly wickets proved to be their biggest downfall. With the exception of captain Harmanpreet Kaur, none of the batters were able to score boundaries in the three games. The lack of six-hitters in the Indian squad became evident as Harmanpreet was the only batsman to clear the ropes.
