IPOH: Kindergarten teacher M. Indira Gandhi has filed a contempt of court application against the police. Her lawyer, N. Rajesh, said it was in relation to the police's failure to affirm affidavits every month and to submit it to the High Court here from 2014 to 2020. "The court has directed us to put in our submissions, with the next date fixed for Dec 14 for the contempt application," he told reporters when met outside the courtroom on Monday (Nov 15). She had claimed that the IGP had failed and refused to adhere to a committal order and a recovery order involving her missing child, Prasana Diksa. Both orders were obtained from the Ipoh High Court on May 30, 2014.
