Importers, exporters, as well as C&F agents from both the countries participated in the meeting to resolve their issues, which was held near the BGB check post at Hili border gate number 285. He added that a few Indian exporters had previously complained to the Indian Hili Exporters and Customs Clearing Agent Association against several Bangladeshi exporters. As a result, the Indian organization had instructed its importers not to release or forward the goods of those Bangladeshi exporters. Harun cited this as unethical and against import and export policies, which caused those Bangladeshi exporters to incur huge losses. The Indian delegation was led by Bikash Ranjan Mandal, vice president of Indian Hili Exporters and Customs Clearing Agent Association.
