A massive landslide in Indonesia’s West Java province has left entire villages buried under mud and debris, with at least eight people confirmed dead and more than 80 still missing, according to multiple international news outlets. A predawn landslide triggered by torrential rains swept through Pasir Langu village in the West Bandung region on Indonesia’s main island of Java. The slide buried homes, training camps, and farmland under deep layers of mud, rocks, and uprooted trees.
