Two major changes occurred in Indonesian actress-singer Olla Ramlan’s life in 2025, which makes her Hari Raya this year a little different from the past. “This is my first Syawal without my mother,” the 46-year-old says of her mum, who passed away on Oct 12, 2025. “My late father married three women after each of his divorces, so I have 11 siblings from three different mothers. When asked whether Tristan is ready to meet the extended family on the first day of Syawal, Olla coyly says: “Even before Hari Raya, he has met the family and knows them. “So usually we cook dishes that you don’t find in Jakarta, traditional Banjarmasin food,” shares Olla, whose must-have dish is Soto Banjar, a traditional chicken soup from her hometown.
