“The industrial sector is one of those sectors that are not so exciting or ‘sexy’, and doesn’t have the highs like the residential sector. He said while some industries are struggling with cash flows, very few industrial property owners are closing down their business. Henry Butcher Malaysia chief operating office Tang Chee Meng said the difference between the housing and industrial sector is that the housing sector is investor-centred, which leaves it open to speculation. So, the industrial sector is much more stable compared with the housing sector. “Industrialisation in Iskandar Malaysia has brought in a lot investors who employ Malaysians and thus, the level of employment demand in Iskandar Malaysia is tremendous.”He said Iskandar Malaysia is still absorbing local workers and they are not enough to fill up all the job requirements there.
