A 22-month-old infant girl passed away on Monday after being infected with Covid-19 as the city reported 4,254 new Covid-19 cases. Among the new cases, 4,019 were locally transmitted while the other 235 were imported cases, including 132 detected at the airport. The infected 22-month-old infant girl, whose condition deteriorated this morning, died at noon at Pamela Youde Nethersole East Hospital. He said that if a pregnant woman reached 37 weeks of pregnancy, those who are prepared to accompany the birth must get regular nucleic acid testing. Caregivers who stay with their patients in the hospital are required to undergo nucleic acid testing twice a week.
