Police have advised those looking to travel on the Kohatu-Kawatiri section of SH6 to avoid the area after a crash near Glenhope on Tuesday morning. Two people have been injured - one seriously - following a crash between a car and a truck on State Highway 6 south of Nelson on Tuesday afternoon. A police spokeswoman said the crash occurred around 12:30pm on the Murchison side of the Hope Saddle, near the Lamb Valley Rd intersection. The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the scene and Police have advised motorists to avoid the area if possible at this stage
