Krishna avatara is special in many ways. Apart from this, Krishna proved his obedience to His mother even at the time of birth, said V.S. As Rama, He was an obedient son to His father, and He prepared to depart for the forest. When Rama tried to persuade Lakshmana to return to Ayodhya, He said He was worried about His mother Kausalya. So, when He took the Krishna avatara, He obeyed His mother Devaki, the very night He was born.
