MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) – An investment contract on building the Northern Waterfront complex was signed in Minsk on 29 June, BelTA has learned. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko had previously signed decree No.186 to authorize the Minsk City Executive Committee to sign this contract on building the experimental multifunctional complex Northern Waterfront with the private company Riverside Development Holdings Limited. The investment contract was signed by Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev and Managing Director of Emaar Properties (Riverside Development Holdings Limited) Mohamed Alabbar. Vladimir Kukharev said: “We are glad that a famous international investor has come to Minsk to build the large-scale modern complex. The Northern Waterfront complex will be located in an area limited by the Minsk ring road, Pobeditelei Avenue, Orlovskaya Street, and Tsnyanskoye Reservoir.
