The sharemarket fell, led by The a2 Milk Company as investors pummelled the stock after the specialty dairy marketer warned its outlook was weaker than expected. Former market darling A2 Milk was the biggest decliner, with the largest amount of shares traded by volume and value. Also weighing on the market was a continued rise in bond yields, with 10-year bond yields moving above 1.8 per cent. “The question for investors is how repeatable is that – that’s something people are grappling with,” he said.
