For several days now President Trump has signalled that he might be preparing to wind the war up. Overnight and this morning Iran continued to fire missiles towards Israel - most of which were intercepted by the country’s air defence system. Meanwhile, the Qatari defence ministry said it had intercepted four ballistic missiles and a number of drones launched by Iran on Saturday. In its warning, the US embassy said citizens should "leave Iraq now". As Iran has launched strikes at US targets across the Middle East, the US has urged its citizens to leave more than a dozen countries.
