TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Malaysian counterpart Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan held a telephone conversation on Tuesday (March 25) to discuss mutual ties and the latest war developments, Mehr News Agency reported. During the phone call, the two top diplomats exchanged views on bilateral relations and the latest developments in the war, especially the economic consequences of the US-Israeli war imposed on Iran. Araghchi briefed his Malaysian counterpart on the attacks by the United States and Israel against the innocent people of the country, particularly attacks on schools, hospitals and residential areas, emphasising the country’s determination to firmly defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Iran will defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity with utmost power and strength, Araghchi underlined. Iran is committed to continuing friendly relations based on good neighbourliness with all countries in the region.
