It has compiled details of all wedding dates in Ireland over the past 15 years, and found that December steals the show, with August not far behind. The two months account for the 10 most popular wedding dates over the past decade-and-a-half. August claims the next six favourite wedding dates, dominated by the early part of the month — August 3, 4, 5, and 2 — perhaps due to the August bank holiday. The most popular months to get hitched were August, July, September, June, and October, with December further adrift in sixth.
