Corrib Oil has confirmed Tullamore Retail Park, Offaly will be home to the second Wendy’s restaurant in Ireland, with the new midlands location expected to open this May. The new Wendy’s restaurant will create 60 new jobs, with recruitment now underway across a range of roles. The announcement marks the next milestone in Corrib Oil’s development agreement with The Wendy’s Company. The announcement follows the successful opening of Ireland’s first Wendy’s restaurant at Mahon Point Shopping Centre in Cork last October, which has seen strong customer demand since opening and created more than 60 jobs. Managing director, Europe for the Wendy’s Company, Michael Clarke said: “We’re proud to see Wendy’s continue its growth in Ireland with the opening of the Tullamore restaurant.
