Ireland's security partnerships need to be put on a "permanent footing" in a "rapidly changing" environment, the Defence Minister said on Tuesday ahead of the launch this week of a new maritime security strategy. Speaking in Dublin, Helen McEntee said while Ireland was already engaging with other countries around intelligence sharing and cyber security, "what I want is for us to put that on a more permanent footing.
