IRISH people are among the most enthusiastic investors in cryptocurrencies in Europe. This is despite claims by sceptics that cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin is a market bubble waiting to burst. The survey found that although crypto is still the new kid on the block in the finance world, the Irish have welcomed it with open arms. Meanwhile, the Plum survey found that Irish customers are projected to save 54pc more than those in the UK, France and Spain this year. When it comes to spending on essential lockdown services, the research found Irish people have been spending more than their European neighbours.
