Irish music stars lined up for Offaly school fundraiserA plethora of Irish country and music stars are lined up for a major fundraising concert for a local school. The concert in the Tullamore Court Hotel on Monday, March 2, at 8pm is in aid of an all-weather play area at Boher school, Ballycumber. Tickets are €30 each and are on sale in Gussies, Boher school, Tullamore Court Hotel, and onlineAn all weather play area is badly needed in the school grounds and will provide a clean, safe place to play and exercise for all pupils in the school. Boher NS said it estimated that the project will cost in the region of €100,000. Included in the concert line up are Michael English, Brendan Shine, Gerry Guthrie, Louise Morrissey, Dave Lawlor, Simon Casey, and The Conquerors.
