Oscar De La Hoya is one of the greatest boxers of all time. After his retirement as a fighter, in 2009, De La Hoya focused on his multiple businesses and extensive charity work. After he retired, and was growing Golden Boy Promotions, De La Hoya had to pass the torch to another generation of fighters. It’s been 21 years since I started The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation. Over the years we’ve built several wings for them, including the Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center.
