Rutter’s, along with Wawa and Sheetz, is headquartered in Pennsylvania, and loyalists are fierce in their devotion to one or the other. Interestingly enough, there is a Sheetz located directly across the pike. What makes this situation different from other locations is the fact that a Rutter’s is located less than one-half mile from the Sheetz and proposed Wawa! The location for the convenience store trifecta is within a few miles of the geographic center of the state. Like Wawa and Sheetz, Rutter’s long-term plans include expansion throughout the East Coast.
